Generation Development is a forum for change in international development policy. By creating a forum for students and young professionals from all around the world to share new and innovative ideas in the areas of human rights, economics, health, education and gender, we hope to ensure the voices of young professionals are heard and respected.
“A fairer and more sustainable framework”
Our vision is for transformation in the international development agenda to represent the voices of young people globally.
We intend to shape the future of international development policy post-2015, when the current Millennium Development Goals are due to expire. By joining us in raising our voices to politicians and policymakers we hope to create a fairer and more sustainable framework for international development.

With representation now in the Middle East and North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, Europe, the USA and Canada, South East Asia and Latin America – our influence is growing. Hundreds of young people follow our conversations now on social media networks. Our prototype forum for development discussion now holds over a hundred members. Finally, as you can see our blog remain a key strength of our network with continual contribution from young people on current challenges & future solution to development.
